These terms govern your use of the EV Install website and outline the general basis on which we provide quotes and EV charger installation services. This is a general template and should be reviewed by a lawyer before launch.
Use of this website
The content on this website is provided for general information about our EV charger installation services. While we take care to keep it accurate, it does not constitute professional advice for your specific situation. Credentials, licence numbers, pricing and other details shown should be confirmed with us directly before you rely on them.
Quotes and pricing
Any indicative pricing or cost context on this website is general only and is not a quote. EV charger installation cost depends on your supply, switchboard, cable-run length, charger choice and site conditions. All pricing is indicative until we complete an on-site assessment, after which we provide a fixed written quote. Work proceeds only on the basis of that written quote and our agreement with you.
Installation and standards
All electrical work is carried out by licensed electricians and completed to the AS/NZS 3000 wiring standard, with a Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work provided on completion. Where your installation requires a switchboard or main-supply upgrade, that work is coordinated through our trusted Level 2 ASP partner electricians and quoted separately; we do not hold a Level 2 ASP licence and do not perform supply-side upgrades in-house.
Warranties
We provide a 12 months on all workmanship. Manufacturer warranty on all charger hardware (typically 3 years, varies by brand). These warranties are in addition to any rights and remedies you have under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded. Warranty claims should be raised with us as soon as a fault is identified.
GST
Unless stated otherwise, prices quoted are inclusive of GST. Your tax invoice will set out the GST component of the work.
Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, branding and images, is owned by or licensed to EV Install and may not be reproduced without permission.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, EV Install is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the general information provided on this website. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
